PORT COLBORNE — A Dunnville-based residential and commercial design company has expanded its services into Port Colborne.
Deborah Dewar Design is now available at Harmony on West.
Dewar is a designer and accredited member of Canadian Decorators Association and has been helping clients design and furnish their living spaces for the past 18 years, operating her own business since 2002.
"After sailing to Port Colborne for many years with my husband, I am very familiar with Harmony on West … and decided it would be the perfect spot to expand my business. I have always loved the area."
Dewar offers a full range of design services including colour consultation, space planning, furnishings, lighting, art and accessories, custom window treatments, slipcovers, reupholstering, renovation and new home consultation, as well as staging for resale.
Focusing mainly on residential interiors, Dewar also has several commercial projects under her belt, such as The Village by the Grand, a 44-unit life lease building, a new medical clinic in Dunnville, as well as smaller offices.
"My goal is to help you create an inviting and comfortable home based on your personal style while keeping your budget in mind." said Dewar.
"The design process usually starts with an in home consultation to determine your design preferences and needs. This can take as little as one hour."
Dewar has a small display area set up in the store on West St., but offers a broad range of products not on display.
"I am excited and pleased Deborah has brought her design service to my shop," said Bonnie Beres, owner of Harmony on West.
If you want to meet Dewar, she is in the Port Colborne store, 204 West St., on Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Dewar will maintain her office in Dunnville as well. For more information go to www.deborahdewardesigns.com or call 905-774-5355.
